Chowdhury Asif Jahangir Arko is an Architect, Filmmaker, Cartoonist & Dancer. A Bachelor in Architecture from BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh & studied Filmmaking (direction, cinematography, editing, screenplay) at Pathshala South Asian Media Institute, Department of Film & Television, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
He runs an Architecture consultation firm Studio Tripod & a media production company ARK Films in Dhaka, Bangladesh. His work bridges the gap between structural design and visual storytelling, creating narratives that are both architecturally sound and cinematically compelling.
Across both disciplines, the approach begins with observation: how people move, where attention gathers, how light changes a room or a frame, and how rhythm can turn a sequence of spaces or images into an emotional experience.
The practice moves between built form and moving image, allowing ideas from one field to sharpen decisions in another.
